Provincial Exams! Grad! Good luck!

ENTRANCE EXAMS
The LPI is accepted by most BC institutions that require an English placement exam to determine if a student's English language skills are at a level to successfully comprehend and complete a first-year university-level English course. In place of the LPI exam, some institutions also offer their own writing assessment or 'placement test'. However, this, 'in-house test', is only accepted by the institution that administers it. Students usually write the LPI or English Placement test in their grade 12 year. Some institutions (like U Vic), must have received the acceptable English proficiency exam results before a student is able to register in a first-year English university course.

For LPI exam information, dates and locations, visit http://www.lpitest.ca/.
