Research

The McNeely Library supports resource based learning throughout our community. Students conduct research for both school and personal needs.

In our information society, it is essential that our students become independent researchers who are able to solve problems in our changing world. It is also important that our students find research fun and something like would like to do for enjoyment.

Good researchers know how to think critically, are aware of the different kinds of resources that are available, and are able to determine which resources fit their information needs. McNeely students work with their teachers and the Teacher Librarian to learn how to access, evaluate, select, use, communicate and share information using print, non-print and electronic forms of information sources and publication and communication tools and resources.
