Donations to Schools

The Board may recognize monetary donations by issuing a receipt for income tax purposes wherever legally permitted.  The Principal will ensure a letter is sent to donors acknowledging receipt of the funds.

Schools shall consult with the District Purchasing Agent regarding acceptable standards prior to accepting donations of equipment or materials.  All donated equipment and material becomes an asset of the School District and will be recorded in the inventory of the school to which it is donated.
