Here are some important things to observe         • Give pedestrians the right-of-way when they are walking along a roadway with no sidewalks.         • Observe School Speed Zones: travel at 30 km/hr or less in the area of our school from 8:00 am.until 5:00 pm. or in the area of the playground from 8:00 am. until dusk.         • No Parking: Please do not park in a “No Parking” zone. Drop off is acceptable, but waiting for five minutes or longer is illegal and leaving your vehicle unattended is not allowed. The penalty for parking in a no parking zone is $40.00. This is especially pertinent for the Metheral Court area at the rear of the school.         • School parking lots are designed as parking places for school staff and those visitors staying longer than five minutes. Please do not come into the lot unless it is absolutely necessary. Encourage your child to walk a little farther to the school.   Here’s an idea- have your child join a Walking School Bus!
