Sustainability Café
The Sustainability Café is an opportunity for students, teachers, administrators, and support staff to discuss leadership and initiatives in environmental stewardship at the school level. The Café has regular monthly meetings and receives direct support from the Richmond Sustainability Action Team.
During the 90 minutes, a school Green Team is featured, a keynote speaker may address the focus topic and there be opportunities to share, discuss, plan and share relevant resources.
The format of the Café includes:

(b) District Sustainability Initiatives
(c) Community Outreach/Programs Presentations
(d) Next Steps – where to and how do we work together and create synergy
The purpose of this group is not only to provide everyone with an opportunity to network, but also to gain tools and resources to make projects and initiatives successful. The topics that will be addressed this year will include: Energy Conservation, Waste Reduction, Purchasing, Leadership, Curriculum, Grounds & Greening, Water Conservation and Transportation.
