Essay Competition for Students- win a trip to the Earth Summit in Brazil!

The Living Rainforest has organized an international essay competition for students, titled “Dear Mr. UN Secretary General…”.  Students, it's time to have your say: what should governments and world leaders be doing to build a sustainable future?

The competition is for primary (7-11 yrs) and secondary (11-16 yrs) students, including those receiving homeschooling. First Prize in each category is a trip to attend the Rio+20 Earth Summit in Brazil (with a teacher and parental guardian). What a fantastic opportunity!

Interested teachers, schools & parents can register here. Make sure you register and submit your essay by March 30th, 2012.

Good luck from Sierra Club BC!
