Each month your child brings home a Scholastic book order form. This is an opportunity for you to encourage reading at home by building a collection of books. The books offered are usually cheaper than what you can find in book stores and are tax free. In addition, Scholastic offers coupons to the teachers depending on how much the order is. I use these coupons to build my classroom library so that I can have new books each month in the classroom for the students to read.
