Home Reading is a very important part of your child's reading development. Try to encourage your child to read at home. Find out what your child is into and get books on these subjects.

Be an example! Read in front of your children. Read with your children and talk about books you have read. When children have a passion for reading, everything else follows - reading and writing skills, such as vocabulary, spelling, grammar, and so on. They learn all the rules naturally through reading.

How to become a better reader
Read, Read, Read, Read, Read, Read, Read, Read, Read, Read!

Read in bed, read in the living room, read in the kitchen, read...

Read fiction, non-fiction, newspapers, recipes, directions, game cards, ...

Read every day
The students should be reading for 30 minutes each day.

Read quality literature
"Read the best books first, or you may not have a chance to read them at all."
Henry David Thoreau

Reading and Writing
Great writers began as great readers.
